FootPrints Home Care is a licensed provider for New Mexico’s Developmental Disability Waiver (DDW), which provides home-based services to eligible children and adults with chronic physical or intellectual disabilities.
Individuals who qualify for the New Mexico Department of Health’s DDW may receive services as an alternative to institutional care. These services are a Medicaid program, available at no cost to the eligible participant, for customized in-home support for people with disabilities.
At FootPrints, we often serve these adult clients directly on a regular schedule or provide respite care when a family caregiver is not available. Our services include adult nursing, respite care, or customized in-home support with a team that may include registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and direct service providers.
FootPrints has been a qualified DDW home care provider since 2013. We understand the importance of independence for adults in the New Mexico DDW program, and work to provide needed health and wellness-related services in their home environment.
