After 16 years of serving the greater Albuquerque and Santa Fe region, FootPrints Home Care announces the sale of the company to BeeHive Home Care on August 30, 2021. No changes are planned in the company name, phone number, or staffing.
FootPrints was founded by Brian Fletcher, David Adkins, and Gary Oppedahl to fill a need and provide compassionate home care to seniors and their families. “Serving New Mexican seniors for 16 years has been an honor. We are passing the torch to BeeHive Home Care, a company with shared values and a shared commitment to the New Mexico senior care community,” says Brian Fletcher. “BeeHive Home Care is committed to continuing our legacy of valuing the undervalued, appreciating the underappreciated, and serving the underserved.” Each of the founding members continues to serve the Albuquerque community, with David Adkins serving as Executive Pastor of New Covenant Church, Brian Fletcher as owner of Computer Corner on Menaul, and Gary Oppedahl serving as Vice President of Emerging Technologies at Emera Technologies.
BeeHive Homes, owned by Nate and Michael Manning, has operated assisted living homes in New Mexico for nearly 27 years. “We are excited to expand our services to provide care and support at home to seniors who aren’t ready for a move into an Assisted Living facility. We share the same guiding principles as Footprints Home Care and find it to be the perfect opportunity to help us expand into the home care business,” says Nate Manning.
